Once the results of the audit survey and analysis have been published, the next step is to act on that data.

Carbon3IT Ltd will provide a report on the “rated”, and “actual” energy consumption of your IT estate and then provide a report on the options available to your organisation.

This could range from implementing group policy shutdowns to areas of non-critical pc’s, the replacement of CRT screens with TFT’s or the replacement of desktops or server assets with newer more energy efficient equipment.

For some organisations with sufficient space and approval, an option may be to replace your power source from grid connectivity to onsite renewable energy systems.
